Vyatta Receives $11 Million In Series B Funding

SAN MATEO, CA -- Vyatta announced that it has secured $11 million in new financing, closing its series B round.  Total company funding to date is now $18.5 million.

The company was founded in 2004 and provides open source network operating software.  Comcast Interactive Capital was the lead investor and may use the company's software in its managed service bundles aimed at the small and medium business markets.

Other investors in the round included JP Morgan Partners, ComVentures and Arrowpath Venture Partners.
